Our Read to Write book this term is 'Leaf' by Sandra Dieckmann.

'When a polar bear arrives unexpecedtly in the woods, the animals fear and avoid him, suspecting him to be dangrous - and his habit of collecting leaves only adds to their distrust. Then one day, they watch as he attempts to fly over the water with wings made of colourful leaves, just trying to go home. Maybe he needs some help?'

Team 4 are looking forward to beginning our writing journey alongside this book, as well as using the beautiful illustrations to inspire our own art. We will be using the process of immersion, analysing, planning and writing to ensure we have lots of ideas ready for our final writing - which we are more than happy to share with adults upon completion!
