Mathematics

In Reception Team there are two areas within maths these are Number, Shape, Space and Measure, the children learn through fun, practical activities in lessons and in continous provision. There are weekly maths challenges within the outdoor and indoor environment which is differentiated to the children's needs and the staff indentify the next steps to help children make progress in their learning. We follow the White Rose scheme to ensure all areas are covered, however, also focus on areas the children need support in to ensure they are confident with the concept taught.
